I did 40 lengths in 40 minutes of the swimming pool today – which is pretty good as only a few weeks ago I was struggling to do 20 in 30 minutes. However, the most irritating thing is that I am trying to lose some weight, so I can be faster in the kart, and because I just feel bigger than I’d like to be. Long term it’ll be better for my health too. What’s really weird though is that while I do feel fitter, my weight simply isn’t going down. I’ve been 12 stone for a few weeks now. I think I need to eat less, but I was so hungary today I couldn’t not have something. Here’s hoping I weigh less tomorrow though because I am determined to get to 11 stone again.
There’s quite an interesting program on TV about this guy Grant who is going into a career in photography. It’s something I’m quite interested in, but I need to get a decent camera, and just take more pictures I think and see what I can do. This program has given me some ideas though. Merely as a hobby though mind! Someone post a comment too!

Right, comments are now working on this page. I think. Try them out – although I am willing to bet right now that no one will every use them, but it was good fun writing the code… I’ll add the photos version tomorrow, and then perhaps the yearly photos thing from my old site a few people have been asking me about of late.

I’ve written some of the code now for comments, but I’ve not yet added the table to actually add some, but that should be coming later on today. I’ve also noticed that my modifications to the design make it look a bit like Matt’s blog. Oops – but I can’t be bothered to change it again just yet 
Also, as it’s late at night I have the TV on in a little box on my screen, and there is an item on the deaf tennis championship. I wasn’t aware that you needed to hear to play tennis, so what’s the point? Next, deaf snooker

Well, I’ve been making some modifications to the site, mostly based around the CSS file powering the look of the site. I had now added a photos section too, Graduation and my 21st Party are the only bits in there at the moment. Other parts coming soon are comments for these stories, and the photos too. Cool eh?
In other news, I’ve spent a good weekend in Paris with some friends, which was certainly relaxing, and a great deal of fun. I’ll have some photos available from that trip soon.

Having got my haircut today and noticing again that my forehead seems to have got inexplicably larger again I’m going to add a new section to the site shortly – hairline watch, where month by month you will be able to watch me become bald! Hurrah! Anyway now that I’m getting a bit bored of lounging around (and with Fran’s impending departure for 6 weeks) I’ve got various other developments I shall be adding to the site in off moments from working on my other big project that I need to complete. I’ll be back sooner now…
